Humpback Whale, acrobatics and songstress
The Humpback whales of the North Atlantic have returned.
The last week of January saw the first big wave of their annual migration. Numerous sightings were made on the surface between North West Point, Grace Bay and Pine Cay. Epic! The season is in full swing and the whales should provide us with encounters right until April.
Many charters on Providenciales will provide you with the opportunity to view these magnificent creatures. You realize how luck you are to see such whales. They are the most vocal singers and are coming down to our area of the world to breed. They also are very acrobatic and feature various arcs, lobtailing, and breacing, either for social interaction, to remove parasites or just to have some fun. You would if you could!
Just ask us for more information and we can put you incontact with some of the best charter whale watching companies around!
When you see these gentle whales, you will truly be changed. There are so many natural events that will shape your vacation in ways that you can not begin to imagine. The Turks & Caicos is very proud to NOT have a captive park to view the wildlife of the islands. When you see something like this you feel humbled, fortunate, and like you have won the lottery!
We also have a wild pod of dolphins that while the TCI has a warden and a ‘jojo project‘ protecting them, they live freely around Providenciales, and if you are lucky you will be able to see him and his family.. More on that later

Beautiful By Nature
This is the slogan of the Turks & Caicos Islands. This is also the theme for the Pearl Residences. Over 400 ft of beachfront that looks out onto the North Shore, where the world’s third largest coral reef is commonly named, ‘The Wall’ as it drops to 100ft as you leave the waters of the TCI and enter the North Atlantic Ocean. The Wall provides divers with the opportunity of a lifetime to see a wide variety of ocean life, from the shallow to deep diving groupers, crayfish and others.
The Pearl Residences also is vibrant with colour, and is set within the lush confines of 4 acres of natural flora. Geckos abound along with local hummingbirds and they are happy to entertain you. Above the water is as beautiful as below.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We come here with our families for our wedding and it was a beautiful week. People flew us from all over and it felt like Paradise to them. We had a fantastic stay and would come back again! Our favorite restaurant was and still is Baci! If you are visiting you have to try it!
Thank you again, Sherril & Scott Fottler

Vacation Dreaming
by Teresa Dearing
To bed, I say,
To dream, I pray,
Of some fair and distant land.
With trees that sway,
Over waters and bay,
With walks of warm, soft sand.
To curl my toes,
Burn up my nose,
And sleep ‘til almost noon.
To swim and play,
In the warmth of the bay,
Then dance to the locals tune.
Bright flowers greet,
Delicious things to eat,
Just hope I don’t wake too soon.
If so, I pray,
To wake, I may,
In this fair and distant land.
